Purpleheart Wand with Sculpted Grip

This wand is made of hand turned Purpleheart wood embellished with black and purple polymer clay sculpturing on the grip and a sealed core of fairy dust. It is almost 16" long and finished with museum quality archival wax.

Purpleheart, when freshly cut, is a lavender tan which gradually deepens to a rich royal purple when exposed to gentle heat and sunlight. It is a dense, slightly open grained wood which takes a high gloss polish. It is found in central and south America.

Not a toy and not suitable for children under 13.
